Training of Community Health Workers in the promotion of barrier gestures and the reporting of suspicious events (death, respiratory symptoms, etc.

Disinfection activities by volunteers

Support to patient care centres at patient "sorting" stations

Provision of PPE for the Ministry of Health and the CoCR

Community outreach activities (mobile outreach caravan, missions in exposed or affected areas...)

FRENCH RED CROSS IN REUNION ISLAND

Training of Community Health Workers in the promotion of barrier gestures and the reporting of suspicious events (death, respiratory symptoms, etc.).

Mainting and adapting French Red Cross core activities : Food aid, Emergency social service outreach, Nursing homes, Heathcare and medical-social facilities, "Red Cross on Wheels" scheme providing food for people who are socially isolated and excluded

Social support service « The Red Cross comes to you » (psychological well-being help line; home delivery of basic necessities and prescription medication)

Reception of airline passengers arriving from mainland France and escort to quarantine centres

These centres handle airline passengers who are placed in quarantine for 14 days after arrival on Reunion,

Specialised accommodation centre specially for people infected with COVID-19 who cannot be treated at home but who do not need hospital admission

Delivery of supplies from PIROI’s warehouse to Red Cross facilities : hydro-alcoholic solution, containers and visors (donations), masks, gloves
